Hello, I am Helmut Fischer. Photography is my big passion. Although my main focus is landscape and visual arts photography, I like to explore beyond my comfort zones with architecture, street photography, sports, and portraits.

One of my interests in visual arts is the use of Intentional Camera Movement (or simply ICM). By increasing the exposure time, I paint with colour contrasts and try to create sublime images.

I have been shooting with Nikon cameras since I was 15. I was always interested in special purpose lenses and thus acquired my first perspective correction lens in the late eighties. Eventually, this 135mm followed. It was at the forefront of optical design and its all-metal body is just a pleasure to work with, but chromatic aberration can be an issue. The bokeh is out of this world.
